DESCRIPTION:Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. \nHomeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun\, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. \nDress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors\, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy. \nAt least one adult must be present with each homeschool group. \nRegistration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series. \nShelter Building and Honeysuckle Pull Party\nBring your homeschoolers out to learn how to make a debris hut and help us with some land management at the same time. By pulling invasive honeysuckle out of the ground to cover their huts\, they will help native plants survive. Debris huts will only stay up until the program is over and then\, we will make it look like we were never there.

Tweens\, ages 10-17\, will spend the evening creating their own custom beauty products from Kool-Aid lip balm to sugar scrubs and more. Pajama parties aren’t complete without some music\, laughter\, and food\, so drinks and pizza will be provided. Parents are not required to stay for this program\, but the children must be signed in and out of the program. \n  \nOur GTO program is for preteens and teens ages 10-17. \nOur goal is to encourage this age group to get out of the house\, off electronics and social media and into the parks! \nWe will provide a variety of activities and programs geared towards preteens and teens that are fun and exciting once a month\, most of the year.
