DESCRIPTION:Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. \nHomeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun\, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. \nDress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors\, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy. \nAt least one adult must be present with each homeschool group. \nRegistration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series. \nShelter Building and Honeysuckle Pull Party\nBring your homeschoolers out to learn how to make a debris hut and help us with some land management at the same time. By pulling invasive honeysuckle out of the ground to cover their huts\, they will help native plants survive. Debris huts will only stay up until the program is over and then\, we will make it look like we were never there.

Do their tiny\, beady eyes make you want to commit murder? Okay\, maybe that’s a bit extreme\, but our naturalist\, Courtney\, can agree that birds are the worst. But they are also pretty cool? It’s a complicated relationship. \nA limited supply of binoculars will be available to borrow. \nThis is an adults-only program due to content.
